We are situated on the borders of three counties, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The Derbyshire Peak District is within easy reach, for the hardened walkers among you, Sherwood Forest and its Robin Hood attractions in Nottinghamshire and the tranquil setting of Rutland Water just a short drive through Leicestershire.

Take a walk through Sherwood Forest, seek out the Major Oak, the aging tree is now held up by props and surrounded by a fence, but still visited by the thousands.

There's also the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre telling you all about Robin Hood.
